“ This is your local kind of bar. Very fun, laid back and all around entertaining. We were able toale it for Saturday night karaoke. They're also serving a specialty cocktail called Beetlejuice that was absolutely delicious. There is pool tables, tVs with the game on, shuffle board and pull tabs. Plus lots of alcohol options. The service was friendly and fast. Very comfortable place to be for being from out of town. ”

“ New owners are awesome, thoughtful, and know how to take care of their customers. Shrimp shack is new and improved. Huge portions with great fresh food. Shrimp are cooked perfectly for peeling and mussel sauce is insanely good. Beer pitchers are cheap and the live entertainment thurs-Sunday never disappoints. Houghton Lake's finest hidden gem. ”

“ I stopped here for lunch, but they don't serve food (only a few bagged snacks). It is a bar only with a pool table and a side area for live music that wasn't being used at the time. The beer was cheap. I had 4 bottles of Budweiser and two bags of peanuts, and it was $11 (plus an extra dollar for using my debit card). They let you run a tab and use your card, as long as you spend at least $10. It was very quiet on the Monday afternoon when I visited, and the weather outside was shitty. There were a few locals in there, and it was nice and quiet atmosphere. Next time I am in the area, I would like to see how it is on a lively night. ”
